I have a poem ‘Neighbourhood Watch’  up at Atrium Poetry. I feel very honoured to appear for the second time this year on one of my very favourite sites. Thanks to fabulous editors Claire Walker and Holly Magill.

Received wonderful news that my poem ‘Seventeen Minutes Of Solstice Sun’ will feature in Three Drops From A Cauldron’s Midwinter 2018 Special (due to be published 20 Dec). I’m sure it’s going to be another brilliant collection – compiled by editor Kate Garrett and her team. I am delighted to be included again after having a poem ‘Raven At Solstice’ published in the 2017 issue.

This beauty arrived today. My contributor’s copy of Strix #5. I love the original design, the quality, the shape – it’s like a work of art. And utterly thrilled to have a poem in there alongside many, many excellent poets and writers. Massive thanks to Ian Harker and the rest of the editorial team at Strix.

Enjoyed a fabulous weekend in Silverdale for the launch of the Watch The Birdie Anthology at RSPB Leighton Moss. The project was conceived and edited by Rebecca Jane Bilkau, who did a brilliant job of organising the event with help from her husband Michael.

The anthology contains poems about the 67 birds on the RSPB’s Red list of endangered species.

I felt honoured to take part and read my poem ‘Skylark In Suspense’. There were so many excellent readers from around the UK and it was great to see so many familiar faces and get chance to meet lots of other poets whose work I’ve long admired.

So glad to be a member of Cult of The Spiny Hog and be part of Hedgehog Press, run by editor Mark Davidson. I thought I’d post a few pics of this quarter’s goodies sent to Cult members.

And I’m really pleased to have a poem called ‘Hedgehog Season’ in their 3rd issue of A Restricted View From Under A Hedge (a.k.a ARFUR) in the company of many fabulously talented poets.

So pleased to see my poem ‘Egret’ up at Plum Tree Tavern, a lovely US site. The poem was partly inspired by memories of these beautiful creatures we saw whilst living on Lanzarote in recent years.
