Really pleased to see my poem ‘Lizard For Company’ in Now Then Manchester’s Word Life section where this month theme was friendship. Most grateful to curator Elizabeth Gibson for publishing this poem that describes exquisite summer months in 2012 spent in the company of this remarkable little creature we named Lizarazu! Delighted to feature once again in this issue on the theme of “Corridors and Passageways” produced by editor Marie Lightman who has done another excellent job. My poem ‘Nightwandering’ can be found by clicking here and scrolling down towards the end of this really stimulating colllection by so many fine poets.
Proud to see my poem ‘A Bonnie Fighter’ in this touching anthology compiled by editor Kate Garrett-Nield as a way of expressing her gratitude to the staff at Leeds General Hospital Congenital Hearts Unit for helping her baby Bonnie after a heart defect was discovered in the days after her birth. I feel very honoured to be in this collection of poems by many talented poets. A recommended read!
