Absolutely delighted to share the news that my poetry collection ’Muckle Anima’ is a 2022 Dreich Classic Chapbook winner. Grateful thanks to editor Jack Caradoc. Details of publication date to follow.
Delighted to appear again on the wonderful Atrium Poetry today. My poem ‘Small Worlds’ is about being six years old, away on holiday for the first time, memories brought back by finding an old black and white photo. Many thanks to two of my favourite editors Holly Magill and Claire Walker. You can read ‘Small Worlds’ via this link:
After a spot of ‘scorchio’ weather, I almost forgot to say how chuffed I am to have 4 poems accepted for the forthcoming ‘Afterwards’ anthology. Thank you Jack Caradoc.

Pleased as punch to appear as part of Ben Banyard’s ‘Finest’ series today with my poem “On Bedsits”.
4 years ago, Ben was the first poetry editor I submitted to at the sorely missed Clear Poetry, my favourite at the time. Thrilled to be part of the ‘Finest’ series! Top man Ben, thank you.
Issue 3 of our ezine ‘192’ will drop in May. Look at the awesome line up we have for you 🔥
This little beauty, Dreich’s ‘The Wee book of Wee Poems’ anthology arrived today. Delighted to have three of my wee’uns in there alongside a host of fine poets. Thank you editor Jack Caradoc.
Very pleased to have two poems in The Lake in company of so many fine poets. Even happier because I’m sure I edited/re-wrote one of them, ‘Night Swimming On Windermere’, for longer than I’ve had teeth 🦷🦷 Thank you editor John Murphy
