Proud to see my poem ‘A Bonnie Fighter’ in this touching anthology compiled by editor Kate Garrett-Nield as a way of expressing her gratitude to the staff at Leeds General Hospital Congenital Hearts Unit for helping her baby Bonnie after a heart defect was discovered in the days after her birth. I feel very honoured to be in this collection of poems by many talented poets. A recommended read!
