Four excellent pieces – I particularly liked “The Taste of Lisbon”. I’ve never been there, but the images you’ve described are so rich and clear, I almost feel like I have!
Thank you Robert, lovely compliment. It’s strange, I submitted the Lisbon poem 8 times before it was accepted! I did keep editing and fine tuning it though, so perhaps perseverance counted in the end! I remember your sage advice about rejections and kept plugging away! Thanks again.
